Lost and Found Policy

Fluent’s Lost and Found policy generally emphasizes that both hosts and guests should take responsibility for personal belongings during a stay. 

As a Guest:

  1. Contact the Host: If you believe you left something behind, please reach out to us directly.
  2. Time LimitsWe encourage you to contact us as soon as you realize something is lost. If the item is located, we can help arrange for it to be returned.
  3. Shipping Costs: If an item is returned, the guest is typically responsible for any shipping fees associated with sending the item back.

As a Host:

  1. Notify the Guest: If Fluent finds a guest’s belongings, we will reach out to the guest immediately through WhatsApp or other contact details we have available.
  2. Return Process: Hosts and guests can negotiate how the items will be returned. Typically, the guest covers shipping costs.
  3. Unclaimed Items: If items remain unclaimed after 1 monthFluent may choose to discard or donate the item based on their discretion unless an agreement has been made with the original owner in writing.
